Who operates the website

The operator name and support channel are displayed below when configured. Before launch, the operator must confirm the identity, contact details, jurisdiction, service providers, retention periods, and user rights applicable to this deployment.

Data used to perform a download request

The browser sends the public post URL directly to the fixed SnapVideoTools parsing API. SnapVideoTools and the media host may receive the URL, IP address, browser or network metadata and process request data according to their own terms and policies. This website does not proxy the request through its own server.

The application code does not create a public results page, user account, or persistent download-history database. It does not send submitted URLs to analytics. Results stay in page memory and are cleared on reset or page exit. In-memory rate limiting temporarily uses the request’s client address; expired entries are removed on subsequent requests. Hosting, CDN, reverse-proxy, and provider logs are separate and must be documented by the operator.

Browser storage and third parties

This website loads Baidu Analytics on every page to measure visits and site usage. Baidu Analytics may process page, browser, device, network, and identifier information and may use browser storage according to its own privacy policy. The operator must confirm and provide any notice or consent mechanism required for the markets where the website is offered.

The website itself stores an explicitly selected language code and a dismissed language suggestion in localStorage on your device. These language preferences are not sent to this website’s server and can be removed by changing the language or clearing site data. Submitted download links are sent by POST directly to the parsing API and are not added to custom analytics events.

Opening a returned media link or loading its preview makes a request to the corresponding media host. The host may receive network information such as your IP address. The website uses a no-referrer policy for media and outbound download links but cannot control the external host’s logging.

Support requests and retention

The report helper prepares text locally; it does not silently submit it. Sending an email is a separate action using the operator’s configured support address. Avoid including passwords, private account data, or signed download URLs.

Before publication, the operator must specify actual support-message retention, hosting-log retention, provider identity and location, any international transfers, and a process for applicable privacy requests. This draft is not a substitute for a deployment-specific legal review.
