Download a TikTok slideshow as photos

“Slideshow” can mean a photo carousel or a finished video. The files you can save depend on which kind of post you have.

Photo carousel or video slideshow?

A TikTok photo carousel contains individual pictures that you can swipe through. A finished video slideshow has already combined images, transitions, timing, and possibly audio into a single video file. They may look similar in the feed, but they are not the same source format.

The photo downloader displays image files when the connected source provides them. A rendered video normally returns a video file instead; it does not automatically include the original still images used to create it.

Save the available pictures

Copy the link to the original public photo post you are permitted to save. Paste it into the photo downloader and choose Download. When pictures are available, the result preserves their source order and lets you save them individually.

Check the picture number before saving. Downloaded file names may not communicate the creative sequence clearly, so keep the order in mind when organizing the images. The interface does not claim to retrieve missing images or recover deleted posts.

What happens to the audio?

The audio associated with a photo post may be returned as a separate file, or it may not be available at all. Saving the pictures alone does not embed the sound in those image files.

Availability also does not establish music rights. Permission to save your own images does not necessarily include a right to reuse a commercial recording. Check the rights for each part of the content before reposting or editing it.

Does this turn photos into an MP4?

No. This version saves the files returned by the source. It does not render a new slideshow video. A genuine conversion tool would need image durations, output dimensions, transition choices, audio handling, and a video-rendering service.

The website therefore combines photo and slideshow search intent on one functional photo page instead of advertising a separate conversion feature that is not implemented. If your post is already a video slideshow, use the video downloader to check its available video files.

When pictures are missing

Check the original post and make sure you copied the photo-post link rather than a screen recording or profile link. If the post has changed, expired, or become unavailable, a third-party service may not return all pictures.

Do not assume that a preview thumbnail is the full-resolution image. Save a file only from the available download options and inspect its actual dimensions when needed.

“You can save TikTok posts to your device for offline viewing and sharing if the post creator allows others to download their content.”
