Before you start
Only save content you own or have permission to download. Public availability does not give you permission to repost a video, use its music commercially, or remove creator attribution.
First check whether TikTok offers its own Save video option. When a creator has enabled that option, the built-in download flow is often the simplest route. If it is absent, do not assume that a third-party tool gives you permission to bypass the creator’s choice.
1. Copy a link to the original post
Open the individual TikTok video, choose Share, and then Copy link. You need the post URL, not a profile page, search result, shop page, or live stream. Depending on the app, the share link may use tiktok.com, vm.tiktok.com, or vt.tiktok.com.
A shared message can contain a caption and the link together. Paste it into the downloader; the input accepts one supported HTTPS post link from the text. If more than one link is included, use just the post you intend to save.
2. Check the available files
Select Download to ask the configured service which files are available. This is not an instruction to upscale, strip an embedded watermark, or convert the video into every format. The result depends on the source and the service connected to this website.
Compare the file extension, resolution, and watermark label when they are available. A clean source file can be offered without a watermark. If the status is unknown, the interface says so rather than silently treating the file as clean.
3. Save the file to your device
Choose the file you need. Some browsers immediately download it; others open it in a new tab. In that case, use the browser’s Save or Share menu. Keep the tab open until your browser indicates the file has finished downloading.
On a phone, check Downloads or the Files app before looking in Photos or your gallery. A completed browser download is not always automatically added to the photo library. On desktop, check the folder configured in your browser’s download settings.
If the link does not work
Check that the original post is still public and available. Deleted posts, private accounts, region restrictions, login requirements, and temporary service errors can prevent a result. Do not send passwords or account cookies to a downloader.
Retry once with a fresh link from the original post. Repeated requests will not restore a deleted video and can trigger request limits. The help section separates link problems from problems saving a file that has already been returned.
